What does the Washington D.C. community mean to you?

We are proud to have started ARTECHOUSE seven years ago in D.C., creating and innovating what the future of creativity and storytelling looks like for guests of all ages.

What fun facts may your fans and customers be surprised to learn about?

Our independent art spaces offer exhibitions created by our in-house studio team. Powered by passion, ARTECHOUSE Studio is an interdisciplinary, collaborative culture working at the forefront of art and technology to develop, produce, and present world-class technology-driven exhibitions and the most advanced presentation platforms that ignite the imagination.

Why do you think highlighting community innovators is important?

While now a global institution with permanent North American locations, ARTECHOUSE is still an independent art space dedicated to showcasing artists who use technology to create. The cities in which we are located are homes for technology-powered art no matter where the visitor is from.

Why was your company created? What is “your why”?

Have you ever wondered what the future holds in the creative storytelling space? ARTECHOUSE seeks to answer that question with every exhibition while connecting us to the universe, our society, and each other.

What is one thing you wish others understood more about you?

Our studio team is a team of interdisciplinary artists from all over the world. While our art may look similar to other immersive experiences, our work has been concentrated in art, science, and technology. Our innovative stories have reached millions of visitors and we collaborated with NASA, SfN, and Pantone to name a few.

What podcasts/books/movies do you like to watch for new inspiration?

The Future of StoryTelling podcast and the No Proscenium podcast

What drives you to do what you do?

Seeing the connection our visitors have to the artwork keeps us motivated every day. If a visitor has learned one new thing, connected to the story, and leaves with a spark of intrigue, we believe we’ve accomplished our mission for that day.
